The practice of using essential oils and other aspects of aromatherapy is no longer only making sprays, candles, and blends. While those applications are wonderful and quite powerful in themselves, many want to use essential oils and hydrosols in more health and well-being applications. Essential oils are a powerful complement to conventional treatments, sometimes even more effective than traditional medicinal techniques and treatments. This trend in aromatherapy is known as “Aromatic Medicine” or the “French School of Aromatherapy.” We believe using essential oils and extracts in this manner is a synergy of all the “Schools of thought on aromatherapy.”
The aim of this branch of aromatherapy is to correct acute and chronic imbalances with the intervention of essential oils. This form is a direct approach and used when aromatic rescue is needed. When we are in the French medical style we are directly targeting organs, systems, microbes, cells, mediators, chemicals, and hormones. We are looking for a very precise mode of action. The chemistry becomes absolutely essential. You must understand the basic pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, essential oil bioactivity, essential oil chemistry, dosage and application. (We will go over this) This is where internal usage is indicated. Now, the formulation, route of absorption, chemical components, dosage and contraindications are critical. Detailed Anatomy and Physiology understanding are necessary, as well as the various interfaces of the body.
In this program, aroma chemistry is taken to a profound level as we study the properties and structures of individual components, as well as the botany, therapeutic uses, energetics and chemistry of essential oils, absolutes and Co2 extracts. Through the exploration of chemistry, botany and vibrational aromatherapy, your work with essential oils can become more medicinal through safe and effective applications.

How to Register
- Register on the site by putting down your deposit for each class you are interested in. Your discount will be applied to the balance.
- Call the shop at 928.282.0029 and speak with Andrea. She will take your registration and either take payment in full or set up a payment plan for you
Please note:
- You must register for the number of classes required for the discount at the same time.
- If you decide to take an additional class later on, the discount is not retroactive.
So, for example, if you register for 2 classes and receive a 15% discount and then add two more classes later on in the semester - the 25% discount WILL NOT APPLY
