If you are new to aromatherapy, don’t know where to begin with essential oils, or just want a small, well rounded collection of oils to begin your collection, we’ve created a kit that would be a great starting point. You’ll find oils that are helpful in addressing muscular pain, respiratory issues, digestive complaints, skin health, emotional and spiritual well being. Black Spruce (Picea mariana)
From Canada, Black Spruce Essential oil is distilled from the needles of the tree and it has a fresh, pine-like aroma.
Wonderful for muscular aches and pains and extremely grounding, it is anti-inflammatory and analgesic and has a way of penetrating deeply, yet gently, thus allowing the muscles to relax and be soothed. Black Spruce Essential Oil is antiseptic and expectorant and therefore is ideally used for many respiratory issues. It is an ideal remedy for many lung ailments such as asthma and bronchitis especially when used in an inhalation blend. It can be used in diffusers, as an airborne deodorizer and decongestant. Black Spruce Essential Oil is great for centering, calming, sedating and focusing.

Eucalyptus plenissima (Eucalyptus plenissima)
From Australia, Eucalyptus Essential Oil is distilled from the leaves and has a camphoraceous, balsamic, strong and slightly sweet aroma.
Widely known for it’s respiratory benefits, Eucalyptus Essential Oil is a great decongestant for colds, sore throat, chronic bronchitis, nasal congestion and sinusitis. Also used for aches, pains and headaches. The skin healing benefits include insect bites, burns, shingles, herpes simplex, acne, wounds and cuts. It has a stimulating effect on the circulatory system and is useful for diarrhea, intestinal parasites and candida. The aroma has an uplifting quality that helps to dispel melancholy and restore vitality. It has a cleansing effect on negative energies, and assists with concentration.

Fragonia (Agonis fragrans)
From Australia, Fragonia Essential Oil is distilled from the leaves, twigs and branches; it has a camphoraceous, slightly sweet/citrus/floral aroma.
Fragonia™ Essental Oil is an anti-inflammatory, mild analgesic, expectorant, immune system stimulant & balancer. It has anti-infectious and anti-bacterial properties. It has anti-fungal properties and is useful against Candida albicans. This oil has very good expectorant properties, though it is not as strong as Eucalyptus Essential Oil, but good enough to be very useful in a steam inhalation treatment for colds, flu, and other head and chest infections. It is a very balanced oil that works deeply on resetting old patterns. We have found that Fragonia™ Essential Oil carries a unique energy pattern bringing the gift of the power of unconditional love. It seems to work on whatever level that is needed to help the body, mind, or spirit find balance. Fantastic must have esential oil.
Frankincense carterii (Boswellia carterii)
From Somalia, Frankincense Essential Oil is distilled from the resin/gum of the tree, it has a fresh, woody, slightly spicy, balsamic aroma.
It has Immune-enhancing, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It is wonderful respiratory aid, for asthma and bronchitis and very effective for headaches when combined with Peppermint Essential Oil & Palo Santo Esential Oil. It is skin healing and effective on boils, acne and scarring on the skin as well as to assist stretch marks to fade. It promotes the regeneration of healthy cells and keeps the existing cells and tissues healthy. It is helpful in relieving anxiety and nervous tension. Frankincense Esential Oil is protective, purifying, and grounding making it wonderful for meditation and sacred ceremonies.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
From Madagascar, Ginger Essential Oil is distilled from the rhizome and has a warming, spicy aroma.
Ginger Essential Oil is a circulatory stimulant, beneficial for cold hands & feet. It is warming to the digestive system, helpful for poor digestion, abdominal distention and flatulence. Blended with Sweet Orange Esential Oil and Roman Chamomile Essential Oil, it helps to relieve morning and travel sickness. Used in massage, it is beneficial for rheumatism, arthritis, and muscular pain. It is also helpful for respiratory conditions, coughs, sinusitis, chronic bronchitis and sore throats. Ginger Essential Oil is grounding and helps to boost confidence and self-empowerment. It promotes clarity by detoxing toxic thoughts and negative energy.
Laurel Leaf (Laurus nobilus)
From Croatia, Laurel Leaf Essential Oil is distilled from the leaves and has a camphoraceous, sweet, fresh aroma.
Laurel Leaf Essential Oil is beneficial for the lymphatic system and edema, it helps to move stuck energy and eliminate metabolic waste. It has a tonic effect on the liver and kidneys and helps to settle stomach pain and offers digestive support. It is an antiseptic and expectorant for the respiratory system, beneficial for chronic bronchitis, colds and flu. It is a cerebral stimulant and nerve tonic. Lavender Essential Oil is distilled from the flowers, Lavender has a floral, fresh, warm, herbaceous aroma.

As an anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic, it benefits conditions such as eczema, acne, psoriasis and sunburn, sciatica, IBS, arthritis, rheumatism and aches and pains. Lavender Essential Oil has an adaptogenic quality when it comes to stress, depending on what one needs, it can either be a sedative or stimulant. From South America, cold pressed from the fresh fruit rind, Orange Essential Oil has a sweet, citrus, fresh and fruity aroma.
Orange Essential Oil is a wonderful oil for helping children to sleep and for stomach upsets. It relieves cramping and spasms, constipation, flatulence and irritable bowel. It is stimulating to the lymph and is useful in cellulite blends. It has an anti-depressant quality and is mildly sedative. It is helpful in the treatment of insomnia, nervousness and anxiety. Orange Essential Oil is used in skin care for acne prone skin, or for alleviating dry, irritated & aging skin and is a premiere oil for the digestive system.
Orange Essential Oil has an uplifting, joyful quality. It is a great oil for those who take things too seriously.
Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii)
From Nepal and distilled from the grass, Palmarosa Essential Oil has a cool, floral, fresh, slightly sweet/citrus aroma.
Palmarosa Essential Oil is anti-fungal, anti bacterial and antiseptic. As a tonic for the digestive system, it acts as a stimulant for sluggish digestion, and has a beneficial effect on pathogens in the digestive tract. Used for muscular aches and pains, joint stiffness and sciatica. It alleviates stress and anxiety, has an uplifting and calming effect on the nervous system. Its antiseptic and hydrating properties make it great for skin care, for all skin types, especially dermatitis, skin infections and acne. Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)
From India, distilled from the flowering tops and leaves, Peppermint Essential Oil has a cool, fresh, minty, camphoraceous aroma.
Peppermint Essential Oil is a premiere oil for the digestive system, useful for nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, flatulence and stomach pain. It is beneficial for the lymphatic system. For mental fatigue and the inability to concentrate, it helps to clear the congestion in the brain. Stimulates circulation and calms the nerves. Headaches and migraines are alleviated with a cold compress with peppermint oil. Sinus congestion/infection, colds and flu benefit from Peppermint. Tea Tree Esential Oil is a broad spectrum anti-microbial, and is effective against bacteria, fungus and viruses. It has immuno-stimulant properties, so it helps the body to respond when it is threatened with infection. It is helpful for lymph congestion, and vaginal candida.
