Frankincense Royal Hojari Sacra Resin - Orange
Boswellia sacra

This specific variant of Boswellia sacra is truly extraordinary and unusual. The unique orange hue that it sports is a rare occurrence, typically manifesting only once a year.
The fragrance it exudes is a delightful fusion of Superior and Brown sacra - a mesmerizing blend of spicy and citrusy notes. This rare version of sacra, bathed in an orange hue, is a scarce find, and I was fortunate enough to acquire some. Holding a piece against the sunlight reveals its breathtaking orange color.
Boswellia sacra offers numerous health benefits, making it highly sought-after. It's particularly effective for treating skin inflammation, muscle discomfort, and joint pain. Moreover, it lends itself wonderfully to the creation of aromatic sacra water and flavorful herbal infusions.
Boswellia sacra, or frankincense as it's better known, is no ordinary resin. It's a natural powerhouse, teeming with medicinal mojo that traditional healers have tapped into for ages.
For starters, this resin is an anti-inflammatory titan. Whether it's the stubborn discomfort of arthritis or the nagging symptoms of chronic diseases like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis, Boswellia sacra is the cool operator that dials down the inflammation.
And it doesn't stop there. With its kick-ass antimicrobial chops, it stands tall against a horde of bacterial and fungal villains. In the skincare game, it's your best ally. Need to soothe your skin after a rough day? Check. Looking to take care of minor injuries or wish your wrinkles would take a hike? Boswellia sacra has you covered, promoting supple skin and reducing the signs of scars and aging.
If you're in the mood for some mind therapy, turn to the aromatic charms of Boswellia sacra. Its distinctive scent plays the perfect tune for your senses, easing stress and anxiety, and setting the stage for tranquility. Plug it into your diffuser, and let its aromatic compounds orchestrate a symphony of relaxation in your brain's limbic system.
What's more, this resin might be a potential cancer nemesis. Preliminary research indicates it could inhibit the growth of various cancer cells, placing Boswellia sacra in the spotlight for future cancer research.
And did I mention its role as a mixologist? Boswellia sacra concocts sacra water and herbal infusions that are not just flavorful but beneficial too. They could boost your digestion, fortify your immune system, and flush out toxins.
Remember, though, Boswellia sacra, for all its awesomeness, isn't a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult with your healthcare provider before embarking on any new health regimen. After all, what works like a charm for some may not have the same effects for others.
Frankincense resin begins as a milky-white sticky liquid that flows from the trunk of the tree when it's injured. The purpose of the resin is to heal the tree. Frankincense resin flows when a tool called a mengaff is used to scrape about a five-inch section down the trunk of tree. It is after the tree is scraped, a milky white juice begins to flow. This white juice hardens into yellow "tears" when exposed to the air. That specific tree is then marked and the harvester returns to scrape and collect the hardened frankincense resin from the tree. The large, clear globules are scraped off into baskets and the inferior quality that has run down the tree is collected separately.
What is not known about this resin is that it comes in many colors. Here at Stillpoint we have the White, the Amber, Orange, Black and the Green. AND they are all lovely.
This particular resin is the Green Resin of the highest quality. This is the highest grade available as the tree that his resin comes from only produces this color one or twice a year. It is magnificent with an intoxicating wonderful aroma.
Boswellia sacra (all colors) is very similar in therapeutic properties as carterii. Boswellia sacra is another resin with the highest amount of boswellic acid in it. The resin can be infused in water to make a tonic for digestive issues such as bloating, cramping and gas. This resin water can also be used as a face wash for cleansing. Boswellic acid has ben shown to fight inflammatory diseases like asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, Crohn’s disease and a variety of cancers. Boswellic acid has also been sown to reduce anxiety and depression while burning resin.
Please note that Boswellic Acid is not present in the Essential Oil
About Stillpoint Resins: Did you know that even resins are prone to adulteration? Yes, they can be!!! The way resins are adulterated is by the addition of plastic! Here at Stillpoint we only source the purest resins available that are ethically harvested or wild harvested. When a resin is wild harvested that means the resin has not been manually removed from the tree, but has fallen off after a wild animal has brushed up against the tree. Our resins are organic and/or wild harvested and are of the highest vibration.
How to Burn Resins: Light the charcoal with matches or lighter for about 20 seconds until it self-ignites. Use tongs to hold it up (never hold it with your fingers alone or you might get burned). Place the lit charcoal in a bowl or any incense burner. The bowl or incense burner should be filled with sand or dirt. Let the charcoal warm for a few minutes. (It turns gray around the edges when it is ready) Now you are ready! Add a small amount of resin on top of the charcoal. The resin will burn and soon release essential, aromatic oils through the smoke. Continue to place resins or powder on charcoal as they burn out and smoke decreases for a continuous burn.
