Red Turkey Castore oils is s Sulfated Castor Oil.  It is called Red Turkey because the color of this oil is Red

 

Sulfation is the process that is used to make Red Turkey Castory Oi. l  Pure castor oil is exposed to sulfuric acid and the result is Red Turky Castor oil.  The result of the sulfation is that we have an oil that will self emulsify in water.  

 

This process produces an oil that  totally dissolves in water while  retaining the magnificent moisturization properties of Castor Oil. 

 

It is great natural emulsifier. 

 

Fun Fact:  It is called Turkey Red Castor Oil becasue it has the color or Red Turkey dye
