Stillpoint's organic Fractionated Coconut Oil otherwise known as MCT. MCT stands for Medium chain triglycerides are known as Caprylic-Capric- Triglycerides or Coconut Glycerides and are derived from fractionated coconut and/or palm oil.
MCT is odorless and is a very light and thin carrier oil. MCT oil contains medium-length chains of fats called triglycerides. Due to their shorter length, MCTs are easily digested and many health benefits are linked to the way your body processes these fats.
Fractionated Coconut Oil is clear and odorless leaving no greasy feeling. It is considered to be a non-occlusive oil, so it allows the skin to breathe and does not clog pores. This is a great carrier oil because it is clear and odorless and will not interfere with the other ingredients or scents in your formula.
It is liquid at all temperatures and does not solidify like coconut oil does. (But it does not have the medicinal or healing propertied of coconut oil either)
