This kit contains 1oz Safflower oil & 5mls of the following oils:

Frankincense sacra  - (Boswellia sacra) Frankincense essential oil has traditionally been used for in meditation & spiritual growth. It has a centering quality on the emotional body, giving one the ability to calm & center oneself. It is used to alleviate stress, nervous tension & anxiety. Frankincense has a rich history of religious & ceremonial use, from the Babylonians using it in their religious rites to it being offered as a gift to the baby Jesus.  Frankincense is great to use whenever an excess of stress has created a situation of restlessness, irritability & insomnia.

 

Myrrh - (Commiphora myrrha) The use of Myrrh dates back  about 4000 years when it was used by the Egyptians for their religious ceremonies. Old & New Testament and the Koran mention the therapeutic properties of myrrh frequently. It was  one of the gifts presented to Jesus upon his birth.  Myrrh essential oils brings tranquility to the mind & spirit, making it beneficial for meditation, and sacred ceremony. It is especially beneficial for those who feel spiritually & emotionally stuck and are seeking to move forward in their life.

 

Galbanum – (Ferula galbaniflua) – Galbanum was used in biblical times as a holy oil, incense, medicine, in cosmetics and in the embalming process. The Romans would use it in anointing rituals at the Spring Equinox. Energetically it was used in ceremonies of rebirth & renewal, while physically it helps the skin in its renewal process. It can be used for protection as well as purification. It helps to banish negative energies.

*Spikenard – (Nardostachys jatamansi) Spikenard was regarded as one of the most precious aromatics in ancient times. Mentioned in the New Testament of the bible, Spikenard was the “ointment” used by Mary Magdalene to anoint the feet of Jesus.  This biblical association adds to the mystical & sacred energy of Spikenard. It assists in finding inner balance, and has a centering quality that helps to integrate emotional, spiritual & physical energies.

It may help encourage forgiveness, instill a sense of calm and reduce fearfulness.
