This kit contains 1oz Sunflower oil and 5mls of the following oils:

 

Plai – (Zingiber cassumunar) Plai essential oil is a fabulous analgesic and can ease pain for 16-20 hours. Plai is highly regarded by many Thai massage therapists for its healing properties.  Used for aches & pains, arthritis, rheumatism, muscle spasms, torn muscles, inflammation and sciatica. It helps ease menstrual cramps while it calms the nerves. Its also useful for digestive upset & gas.  Plai is a member of the ginger family, and has a similar, yet slightly less spicy aroma & heat than ginger.

 

Black Pepper – (Piper nigrum) Black Pepper essential oil’s analgesic, antispasmodic, carminative and rubefacient properties make it a must-have oil for muscular-skeletal issues.  It helps to dilate the blood vessels, which creates a warmth that alleviates tired, sore muscles. Indicated for arthritis, neuralgia, poor muscle tone, sprains, strains, stiffness & poor circulation. It helps to numb the nerves to ease pain. The beta-caryophellene component is what gives black pepper its spiciness & anti-inflammatory properties.

 

Spike Lavender – (Lavandula latifolia) – Spike Lavender essential oil has analgesic properties that make it a great oil for aches & pains, cuts, scrapes & rheumatism.  It is anti-inflammatory, & antispasmodic as well. Spike Lavender contains the ketone camphor, which gives this oil its rubifacient and circulatory stimulating properties.

 

With an option to add on 5mls of:

*Wintergreen(Gaultheria fragmentissima wall.) Wintergreen essential oil is beneficial when used in an external application as a linament for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, rubafacient & antirheumatic properties. It is especially beneficial for rheumatoid arthritis. Wintergreen essential oil contains 97% Methyl salicylate. Salicylates can potentiate blood thinning drugs. Be sure to use this oil in proper dilution, and only use for a short duration.
